Q. Does any supplication to Allah require a human intermediary?
By: Mohamed Riswan

A. No, a prayer does not require a human intermediary, as Allah says:

“And when My slaves ask you (O Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)) concerning Me, then (answer them), I am indeed near (to them by My Knowledge)…” [Noble Qur’an 2:186]

And the Hadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him):

“You pray to the One who hears all and is near, and He is with you (by His Knowledge).” [Muslim]
